Evo Morales for Nobel Prize

A total of 100 world celebrities, institutions and social organizations have joined the campaign in favor Bolivian President Evo Morales for the 2007 Nobel Prize.
Among the personalities are Nobel Prize winners Rigoberta Menchu and Adolfo Perez Esquivel, according to a document circulating since Monday in several newspapers and official media.
Also, there are Francois Houtart, president of the Committee for Solidarity with Bolivia in Brussels, Belgium; Emir Sader, Brazilian writer and teacher, Hebe de Bonafini, President of Madres de Plaza de Mayo, Argentina.
Marcia Campos, president of the International Women's Democratic Federation (FEDIM), Braulio Alvarez, Venezuelan deputy, Edgardo Depetri, Argentinean legislator, and Ricardo Cornejo, Salvadoran priest, also signed.
Moreover there were signatures from Ecuadorian Army former chief Rene Vargas Pazos, Humberto Cholango, ECUARUNARI Secretary General in Ecuador; and Manuel E. Yepe, Secretary of the Cuban Movement for Peace and Sovereignty of Peoples.
Other people like Argentinean filmmaker Fernando Pino Solanas; Monica QuilodrĂ¡n (Chile) and Jose Reinaldo Carvalho (Brazil) are on the list.
Among the organizations, there are the Permanent Assembly for human rights of Ecuador, the Brazilian Unique Oil Workers Federation, the National Association of Social Nets and Organizations of Venezuela, and many other organizations from Nicaragua, Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, Cuba and other nations.
Signatures should be registered at solidaridad@evonobel2007.org , and can only be signed on behalf of individuals or social and community organizations.
