Call in France pro Nobel Prize for Evo Morales

Humbleness of spirit of Bolivian president Evo Morales is extolled here as part of the campaign for his election as Nobel Peace Prize candidate.

Bolivian ambassador to France, Luzmila Carpio, told Prensa Latina her compatriots are set on calling all peoples over the world to vote for their president, who has all required virtues for that award.

His message of solidarity, brotherhood, his will to dialogue between all nations, are important conditions to make him worthy of the prize, expressed the diplomat during the L Humanite Festival in this capital.

She added that a president like Morales, of humble origin and fighter against poverty and social inequities is worthy of being elected.

For Bolivians it is very important to respect the land and everything living on it, plants, animals, a very human value, lost to many nations over ther world.

Carpio commented on the warm welcome given to her country in the event being held this weekend in the outskirts of Paris.

She stressed that for the first time, Bolivia is being known worldwide thanks to her president, who is doing a lot for the poor and for social justice.

For Carpio, the first Quechua indian named for a diplomatic post here, Evo Morales is a symbol of peace, equality and the certainty that a better world is possible through dialogue.
