$50m export batch heads for Venezuela
TEHRAN
The first consignment of industrial machinery, valued at $50m, was exported from Iran to Venezuela in late March 2006, economic and foreign relations deputy of Ministry of Mines and Industries said here Tuesday.
The shipment was the fruit of friendly relations and yearlong negotiations between the two nations which included six dairy factory lines, 80 freezer containers, 100 plastic injection machineries, and 10 milling and molding factories, Mohsen Shaterzadeh noted.
Iran and Venezuela had earlier signed 11 MOUs in agricultural and industrial sectors which came to full-blown agreements recently.
Establishment of joint exchange fund, Samand and Pride auto assembly lines, engine oil processing refinery, two dairy factories, and a can manufacturing unit are among the cooperation fields between the two countries.
