Bolivia Literacy Campaign Striding

The Bolivian literacy campaign, advised by Cuba, got a boost Monday with the creation of one million teaching posts all throughout the country.
Organizers of the campaign "Yo Si Puedo" (Yes, I Can), Cuban audio-visual method, said that teaching posts are being set up at a rate of about 100 a day, as part of a massive literacy program President Evo Morales launched on March 20.
Up to this weekend, about 20,000 illiterate people had been attending classes during the day, night and on weekends, without affecting their daily work.
So far, nearly 495 posts have been activated in Cochabamba, followed by Tarija with 133, Santa Cruz 140, Chuquisaca 66, Oruro 69, Beni 34, La Paz 16 and Potosi 4.
The country expects to activate 21 teaching posts in Pando within this week.
