Absolutely no proof that Mexico's Obrador is funded by Venezuela's Chavez
On July 2, the Mexican people will probably elect socialist/populist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador as their next president.
We are starting to hear scandalous rumors from US Rep John Kobe (R-AZ) that some Mexican legislators say Obrador is receiving funding from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias.
There is absolutely no proof that this is true.
Between Venezuela and Mexico 4 m/b of oil a day is exported to the US, or a third of all imports.
The possible successor to President Fox in the PAN party is Felipe Calderon who is 8% behind Obrador in the polls. His chance to even get close to Lopez hinges on whether Bush and the Republicans can get amnesty legislation passed in the US.
Even then we doubt Calderon can win.
A wall along the border and even a guest worker program won’t play well in Mexico and would wrap up a Lopez victory. We do not prefer a socialist, but anything that will stop the tide of world government we are for.
Fox-Calderon and PAN are elitists and part of the world government clique.
* Venezuela and Mexico are not about to cut off US oil supplies ... they want to be left alone to develop their own societies.
The people of many countries to our south have elected people they would have never elected previously simply as an antithesis to those who want and demand world government.
This is why they want to give them FIVE YEARS to remain in the United States under a "workers permit"... they will no longer be able to return to Mexico as a Mexican "National."
