Morales Inaugurates Radio Program

Bolivian President Evo Morales, inaugurated the radial program "The People is News", a space that will become a tribune for the Bolivian people, according to its organizers.

In statements to Prensa Latina, national director of social communication, Gastón Núñez, specified that the informative space will have a weekly frequency, and every Sunday it will be transmitted from 10:00 to 12:00 (local time) from state Radio Patria Nueva.

He explained it has the objective of giving voice to those excluded, the natives and the peasants.

He said that during two hours of transmission, Morales will inform the population about his administration and he will respond to questions by listeners.

About 30 plants will also be installed in the nine departments of the country and that they have been inaugurated by the leader in the year, he added.

According to Núñez, for the first time in the history of Bolivia natives will give to know their reality in a national radio station.

Morales has been one of the most severe critics in the big diffusion means in private hands.
