The media is downplaying the violence that occured today in Los Angeles. Several fires were set and at least one gangbanger was shot by another gangbanger.

Here’s an amusing report from an IndyMedia goon. He’s a self proclaimed anarchist but when he get a little taste of chaos and lawlessness he cries like child and want to sue.

I just came back from MacArthur Park. I got hit w/ an LAPD rubber puck on my behind. I’m gonna try to sue. Everything was going well. I was wearing my Anarchist black hoodie w/ my black backpack and black bandana to hide my face, and of course my video camera which I dropped while I was running away.

My Mexican friends were wearing their Zapatista ski masks. We just wanted to protest for equal rights and violence and peace. But these local gangsters, my Mexican friends called them chulos began to aggitate the police. They look very scary, some had ‘XVIII’ tattooed on their heads, others I saw w/ ‘MS 13′ on the back of their necks. They began throwing batteries and bottles at the cops.

We wanted to stop them, but these chulos were out of control. So, the cops formed their lines and began to disperse the crowds. I hate cops, but this time I guess I don’t blame them because these gangsters were undermining our protest.

My friends and I were there to protest w/ our brown worker friends against free trade and oppression and immigration amnesty, but these gangsters ruined it.

We were going to go back to my friend’s house in Echo Park to watch all our videos where we made fun of the cops and drink beer and smoke pot. To me this is the most fun part of being an Anarchist, when we get together and get to stick it to the Man and hang out w/ friends. I usually feel good afterwards because I’m fighting for a good cause.

Now I just have a bruised behind. I hate those gangsters for ruining my 1st protest experience here in Los Angeles. I hope something gets done about those gangsters. As a college educated person who has always worked hard for what I believe in, these gangsters just ruin society as a whole.
