The height of absurdity: Posada accepted under the Adjustment Act
THE height of absurdity could be reached soon in the case of international terrorist, murderer and torturer Luis Posada Carriles: now exonerated of all charges by a federal court, he could definitively resolve his migratory situation by taking advantage of the criminal law known as the Cuban Adjustment Act.
This was affirmed by Mafia capo Armando Pérez Roura during his show on Radio Mambí, which Posada’s lawyer hastened to contact by telephone following the news of Judge Kathleen Cardone’s error.
“They have dropped all the charges and Luis will receive the right to remain in this country by taking advantage of the Cuban Adjustment Act,” declared the old recalcitrant, in conversation with Arturo Hernández, who is leading the team of Mafioso lawyers which the local terrorist leadership has provided for the criminal.
More than that, the lawyer confirmed that, in the future, he will dedicate his time to obtaining the release of the “exonerated” man’s accomplices: Ernesto Abréu, Ramón López Castro, José Pujol, Santiago Alvarez and Osvaldo Mitat, likewise assured of his defense.
“After this victory, we cannot rest,” he told the station, confirming with this new logic that predominates in the Miami sanctuary of terror, “that the government of the United States must drop these charges.”
Posada himself took part in Pérez Roura’s program: “Words fail me,” he grunted, like a voice from beyond.
Head of the so-called Unidad Cubana, which brings together groups affiliated to the Miami terrorist network, Pérez Roura is one of the most fervent preachers of the use of terror against Cuba.
For its part, Channel 23 (Univisión) left the final word for Miguel Saavedra, who expressed his “joy” at the release of the old-time assassin and demanded the same for his buddies Alvarez and Mitat. In the campaign to release Posada, Saavedra replaced Ernesto Abréu, president of the so-called Cuban Patriotic Junta, associated with Alpha 66.
Swept up in collective delirium, other ringleaders are now talking about demands for the release of Eduardo “Omar” Arocena Pérez, leader of the Omega 7 terrorist group, the only Cuban-American Mafioso that U.S. justice has chosen to keep in prison, thanks to an old debt he had with the FBI. According to federal services, his term is due to end in the year 2050.
What is certain is that Posada’s release by the Bush clan confirms more than ever the scandalous impunity awarded to the most fanatical circles in South Florida and constitutes for this extremist fauna a clear invitation to continue conspiring and sowing the seeds of terror.
